Our Na Cait Óga Academy Squads had good wins all round yesterday in the Hurling Academy National Games and advance to the Finals on the 24th August.
Both U14 (Kilkenny) and U14 (Cill Chainnigh) panels have qualified for the U14 Tony Forristal Tournament.
The U15(1) panel had a 1-21 to 0-16 victory over Waterford and advance to the Arrabawn Cup semi final.
The U15(2) panel’s match did not go ahead and Kilkenny advance to the John Doyle Cup semi final.
The U16(1) panel previously drew with Limerick who in turn defeated Tipperary by one point yesterday to put Kilkenny in the Michael Foley A Shield semi final.
The U16(2) panel overcame Dublin on a 3-18 to 3-10 scoreline and advance to the Michael Foley B Cup semi final.
