St Canice’s Credit Union Senior Hurling Championship

The rescheduled SHC quarterfinals took place on Sunday in UPMC Nowlan Park and Mullinavat took the spoils in the opening quarterfinal when they defeated Erin’s Own.  In the second quarterfinal, 13-man O’Loughlin Gaels overcame Dicksboro.

St Canice’s Credit Union Senior Hurling Relegation Final

Glenmore retained their Senior status following a highly-anticipated relegation final against James Stephens, with a five point victory at the final whistle.  Glenmore 3-17, James Stephens 3-12.

Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Intermediate Hurling Championship

Wins for Young Irelands (over Danesfort) and Lisdowney (over Mooncoin) see them advance to the Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Intermediate Hurling County Final.  The sides have two weeks to prepare for the final which will take place at UPMC Nowlan Park on the 20th October.

JJ Kavanagh & Sons Junior Hurling Championship

In the rescheduled Premier Junior Championship quarter-finals,  Emeralds, St Lachtain’s and Windgap advance to the semi-finals, following victories over Barrow Rangers, Galmoy and Graignamanagh respectively.  James Stephens, having won the Section B Final the previous week, make up the final four in the Junior Championship.

 

The draws for the St Canice’s Credit Union SHC semi-finals and the JJ Kavanagh & Sons JHC semifinals took place in UPMC Nowlan Park on Sunday evening last – see results of the draws below.
