St Lachtain’s and Lisdowney booked their places in the Leinster Club Junior and Intermediate Hurling Championship Finals following victories last weekend.
On Saturday, 24th November, Lisdowney travelled to Portlaoise to take on Borris In Ossory Kilcotton in Leinster Club Intermediate Hurling Championship Semifinal. Both sides put on a great display in tough conditions and it was Lidsowney who edged past the home side in a tight encounter in which only 2 points separated the sides at the FT whistle. Lisdowney 2-15, Borris In Ossory Kilcotton 2-13.

Lisdowney take on Rathnure St Anne’s of Wexford in the Leinster Club Intermediate Final next Sunday, 1st December. Throw-in is 1:30pm in Chadwicks Wexford Park. Entry to the final is by ticket only and tickets can be purchased HERE.
On Sunday, 25th November, St Lachtain’s travelled to Bray Emmets GAA to take on Avondale of Wicklow in the Leinster Club Junior Hurling Championship Semifinal. Aided by a strong wind in the second half, St Lachtain’s (who were down 2 points at the half time break, 1-5 to 0-10) turned it around and cruised to victory, outscoring their opponents 3-13 to 0-1. FT St Lachtain’s 4-18, Avondale 0-11.
