Kilkenny came up short in the much anticipated Electric Ireland All-Ireland Minor HC semifinal in Chadwick’s Wexford Park on Saturday last as Waterford ran out 2-21 to 2-18 winners. In a thrilling encounter, Kilkenny opened the scoring with an early goal and the sides gave the supporters a a fantastic display of hurling. However, it was Waterford that proved too strong and their win sees them advance to the All-Ireland Final.
