Kilkenny came up short in the eagerly anticipated All-Ireland SHC semifinal last Sunday, with Tipperary edging them out by two points in Croke Park. Four goals from Tipperary proved decisive and secured them a spot in the All-Ireland Final against Cork on the 20th July next – the first ever final meeting between the two counties. FT Kilkenny 0-30 Tipperary 4-20.
