Kilkenny GAA is saddened to hear of the passing of Ned Buggy.
Ned began his GAA journey as a player before turning to administration, serving as Secretary of his beloved Dicksboro club for almost 30 years. He subsequently went on to serve as Secretary and Treasurer of the Northern Board, County PRO, and Vice-Chairman and Secretary of the Junior Board — over 60 years of dedicated service to the GAA. A true gentleman who was held in high esteem by all who knew him.
Kilkenny GAA extends its deepest condolences to Ned’s sister Teresa, his partner Eva, cousins, extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends.
