Congratulations to Danesfort on being crowned the 2025 AIB Leinster Intermediate Club Champions yesterday.
In trying weather conditions in Pairc Tailteann, Danesfort overturned a six point half-time deficit against Ratoath to take the title in impressive style. The Danesfort men outscored their opponents 2-12 to 0-3 in the second half. The title holds special meaning for the club as Captain Diarmuid Phelan and Paul Murphy (after whose father the Tommy Murphy Cup is named) raised the Cup in front of a sizeable Danesfort contingent who made the trip to Navan.
