There was a great attendance at the Cumann na mBunscol Primary Schools’ Sports Quiz last night, with schools from all around the county taking part. A total of 33 teams participated.
The winners, with an impressive 69 points (out of 80), were St Canice’s Co-Ed NS, Kilkenny. They received their prizes from Chairperson of Cumann na mBunscol Kilkenny, Pádraig Crowley, who recently retired from teaching in St Canice’s.
Joint second place went to Scoil an Chroí Ró-Naofa, Urlingford and Scoil Lachtaín, Freshford on 67 points.
Comhghairdeas libh go léir!
Best of luck to St Canice’s Co-Ed NS as they advance to represent Kilkenny in the All-Ireland Final in Tullamore on 22nd March.
A huge thank you to all the schools, teachers, students and parents who contributed to such an enjoyable evening.
