Another big weekend of club hurling lies ahead as the St Canice’s Credit Union Senior Hurling Championship, Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Intermediate Hurling Championship and JJ Kavanagh Junior Hurling Championship continue on Saturday and Sunday.
The Senior Championship reaches the quarter-final stage, with four ties taking place at UPMC Nowlan Park across the weekend. Graigue Ballycallan face Bennettsbridge and Thomastown meet Clara on Saturday, before Sunday’s double-header sees O’Loughlin Gaels take on Tullaroan and Shamrocks Ballyhale face Glenmore.
There is also a crucial game in the Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Intermediate Hurling Championship, with St Martin’s and Blacks & Whites meeting in the Relegation Final at St John’s Park on Saturday at 12pm.
The JJ Kavanagh Premier Junior Hurling Championship has reached the quarter-finals, with three games across the weekend. Piltown face Conahy Shamrocks in Dunnamaggin and Emeralds meet Graignamanagh at Páirc Shéamuis Stíofáin on Saturday, while John Lockes and St Patrick’s meet in Palmerstown on Sunday.
