Following a busy day on the inter-county scene where the minor hurlers recorded a good win over Westmeath on a scoreline of 5-28 to 1-5, the minors had an excellent second half aided by a strong breeze. This win sees the minors line up a semi-final date with Offaly next weekend, full arrangements will follow.
The junior footballers recorded a good win against Scotland today winning on a scoreline of 2-12 to 1-8, this will see the footballers once again contest the final in the UK next week, again the exact fixture will be confirmed by Monday.
This evening in Dunmore the Celtic Challenge team had an excellent win over North Tipp. Behind by a point at hal-time they eventually ran out comfortable winners at full-time on a scoreline of 4-12 to 1-13. Like their minor colleagues they too will now contest a semi-final next weekend with full fixture details to follow.
