Last Saturday saw the hosting of the sixth annual Kilkenny GAA/Supporters Club Raceday in a balmy Gowran Park. A large crowd was in attendance, no doubt encourgaed by the glorious weather to see the eight race card that Gowran had to offer. The county board also took the opportunity to acknowledge the achievement of the eleven U-21 All-Ireland winning Captains, a presentation was made to each on the day.
A huge work of thanks to all sponsors for the day, in particular our race sponsors, the organising committee and of course to Gowran Park for hosting the event. This day is now firmly marked in the social calendar in Kilkenny.
