Wednesday night was a busy one for Kilkenny’s Celtic Challenge teams with Kilkenny Black coming up just short against Tipperary Gold on a scoreline of 1-11 to 1-15, the game was played at MW Hire TC, Dunmore. Meanwhile down the road in Dungarvan, Kilkenny Amber claimed victory over Cork City running out six point winners, the scoreboard reading 1-19 to 1-13. Ryan Murphy (Kilkenny Amber) was awarded the ‘Fair Play Award’ following the victory.
Both teams will be on the road next Wednesday night with Kilkenny Black against East Cork in Leamybrien at 7.30pm, while Kilkenny Amber will be up against Tipperary Gold in Cashel, also at 7.30pm.
