The Kilkenny minors claimed a Leinster final spot following their 3-23 to 1-16 win over Offaly in UPMC Nowlan Park on Wednesday evening. The game was a closely contested affair for large parts with Kilkenny ahead by three or four points at various stages but it was only in the final ten minutes of the game that Kilkenny pulled ahead aided greatly by late two goals. Kilkenny will now face Wexford in the Leinster final on Wednesday next with full details to be confirmed.
